Dear Fatal Pianist,
You're so generous. Thank you for your kind offer to plug the "New Account of the Blue Danube Waltzes" into a music notation software program. It's a really, really, really generous offer!
To stay consistent with our other compositions, we'd like to handle the notation process ourselves. Besides, this particular situation is more complicated than other pieces. Although much of the piece is notated in illegible manuscript, chunks of the piece reside only in our heads. We play the piece from memory, and much of the piece has mutated and morphed over the years so that we now play something different from what I originally wrote. As a result, we're the only ones who could create the score!
We've actually discussed publishing the piece recently. We know this my seem like a long time from now, but we think it is reasonable, given our own schedules and plans -- we plan to make the score available for sale in 2010. We'll be certain to let our mailing list know when the day finally arrives.
Thanks again for your amazing offer.
As for recommended piano duets -- we just answered a similar question on the "Ask" page of www.andersonroe.net. Check it out to see what ideas we had!
Best wishes to you!
- Greg

Dear Greg,
Are there any particular pieces you recommend for piano duets? I have heard many people asking you for your very famous transcribed piece “A New Account of the Blue Danube Waltzes “ . However you mentioned that it was in a completely illegible notation. It would be of great honor to me if I could assist you in notating it using cubase into a score sheet so that everyone could enjoy your amazing transcription if you could send me a scanned copy of that. As for the copyright laws, I can’t really help you much on that =] my email is monkeyrep@hotmail.com. I really sincerely hope that would be possible. Thanks a lot in advance.
